Since 2005, DHITECH – High-Tech Technology District is the meeting point between University, Research and Enterprise in Puglia.
Our mission is simple and ambitious: promoting innovation in the regional socio-economic system, operating in the context of regional, national and Community policies, through public-private collaboration to transform ideas into solutions, research into impact, technology into new growth opportunities.
Born in the form of S.c.a.r.l. within the framework of the Framework Programme Agreement between the Puglia Region, the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), DHITECH is today a Foundation non-profit, attended by Universities, Research Agencies and Companies operating in the high-tech sectors.
We are the 1st European Technology District Certificate ISO 56001, the international standard for systems management of innovation: a recognition that confirms the quality of our approach and the solidity of our Ecosystem.
The vertical divisions in which DHITECH is organized concern:
- Digital Society

- Green Tech.
Transversal divisions are:
- Logistics
- Skill Up.
The main activities DHITECH's action focuses on:
- The management and implementation of complex Research, Innovation and Training Projects involving the actors of the Ecosystem;
- The management and promotion of the Technology Building, equipped with state-of-the-art technological infrastructure, such as "place of innovation and technology transfer", within which to develop new specialist skills.
