PUBLIC ROADMAP NATIONAL CONSULTATION
Contribute at the National Roadmap Smart Communities. The CTN for Smart Communities is increasingly the institutional reference (in Italy and in Europe) for industrial and research policies and is called to promote and support the discussion on the issue of smart communities involving enterprises, public administrations and citizens. For drawing up‘2018 edition of its Roadmap for the development of the specialization area Smart, Secure and Inclusive Communities, in the first six months of 2018 an open consultation was activated to the members, belonging to the industrial world and scientific research, as well as to the many Italian municipalities that join the network, through: 9 webinars open to Enterprises and Research Bodies and 2 webinar open to PA. In total, 130 participants, representing 80 between institutions, research bodies and companies. The great and rich work of analysis and collection of ideas and proposals has been summarized in a document RECOMMENDATIONS which will be officially delivered to MIUR on 29.11.2018 on the occasion of the Assembly Annual Cluster. Now the Cluster opens the Recommendations document to a Public Consultation online, using the platform Eu Survey of the European Commission. Objective is maximum involvement of other stakeholders and, above all, citizens – direct and real recipients of the innovation policies we deal with. Participation in the Consultation is free and open to all: enterprises, research bodies, public administrations, institutions and citizens. The public consultation will remain open until 6.11.2018.

CALL FOR STARTUP
As part of theNational Assembly we have predicted a moment dedicated to StartUp – SmartCommunitiesTech 4 StartUp – during which, in front of an audience of enterprises, research bodies and public administrations already part of the Cluster network, will be chosen and awarded the three best ideas and entrepreneurial initiatives by a jury made up of Grandi Imprese, Venture Capital and Institutions.
Who can participate: They can apply all Italian StartUp projects or ideas related to Cluster Smart Specialisation trajectories: Smart and Collaborative Mobility; Smart and Secure Living; Smart and Inclusive Government (description to page technologies on the website of Cluster).
The SmartCommunitiesTech 4 StartUp path: Among all call participants, will be selected five ideas for each theme, total of fifteen startups, who will have the opportunity to take part in the pitching session "SmartCommunitiesTech 4 StartUp" 29 November at the Centre of Restoration of the Royal Venaria from 14.30 to 15.30.
Additional added value, selected startups will be able to exhibit their own demonstrator – where available – in that will be set up and visitable always on the same day of 29 November (waited about 200 people, including numerous representatives of Public Administrations).
During the event, the jury will select a winner for each category, for a total of three winners. The winning startups will be offered free membership of the Smart Communities National Cluster for the next 3 years.
TO all selected startups for the final will be offered one 50% discount on the fee of annual accession to the Cluster.
The components of the Jury, in particular The Great Enterprises and Ventures, they will also make available two comparison sessions to deepen the business idea and evaluate potential acceleration or investment paths, according to the programs/criteria of selection of their respective companies.
Methods of participation: Proposals must be prepared by filling out the FORM OF CANDIDATURA and sent to the address info@smartcommunitiestech.it within and beyond 12 NOVEMBER 2018 at 12.00.
Every startup can subdue to the maximum three proposals, one for the strategic field of specialization, and however can be selected only for a focus. Proposals must clearly illustrate the general idea, objectives and potential beneficiaries of the project. To better illustrate the project you can also send to the email info@smartcommunitiestech.it Additional documentation (images, Power Point presentations, videos, etc...) that will be shared with the jury.
