The University of Salento through the workshop "Integrated Solutions for Future Transport Systems: Experience at Work " intends to share the experiences developed in different research and industrial projects in order to acquire new inputs to generate innovation throughout the transport system.
A plenary section will introduce the workshop through the description of the main results obtained from GIFT 2.0, GUIDEPORT and KHIRA projects. In the afternoon, there are two parallel sections on the themes of the "New Perspectives and Innovation in Transport Sector" and the "Product Design Innovation". The first aims to present funding opportunities at European level and to describe industry experience and needs. On the other hand, during the second session, ICT innovation issues applied to the design of products related to the theme of transport. These themes will be discussed in the next day. At the end of the two sessions an open discussion will be held. The second day will be dedicated to the exploration of experiences, matured in different sectors, useful to improve the current definition and management of transport systems at both Italian and European level.
