FROM LECCE TO BERGAMO INNOVATION

Three dynamic protagonists of Dhitech's Khira Project presented an article on Foresight's activities for ICTs with excellent results

Within the 20th edition of the prestigious ICE Conference, which has just ended Bergamo, some young stockholders Project KHIRA of the Dhitech, Apulian Technological District, have clearly shown an article on the activity of Foresight, or prediction, entitled "A foresight strategy proposal for ICT scenarios definition: An application for PLM tools and systems“.

The article, made by some members of the Khira research project, of which it is responsible Danilo Cannoletta by Alenia Aermacchi, it served to present the developed strategy and the first results obtained from its application.

Mariangela Lazoi presented the scientific article on the activity of Foresight, which had already achieved great success by the scientific committee of the conference. Claudio Sassanelli presented the very active KLIOLab, Living Lab Khira in Dhitech.

"We presented our KLIOlab in an interactive workshop where we collected positive feedback and interest in our work and responded to many curiosity!", let the boys know with great satisfaction.

KLIOLab is a collaborative work environment shared between partners of different kinds: industrial, academic and public, collecting providers and end users in an integrated and stable network for industrial innovation and sustainable development. The industrial context of reference is the aeronautical, mechanical and energy sector with its supply chain, consolidating a sector that is finding strong synergies on the territory of Puglia, but open on a national and international scale.

Further information on the activities of the Project can be found in the online magazine of KHIRA, which can be found on the website: https://www.khira.it/review/

DHITECH: The Apulian High Tech Technology District operates in the field of research and training activities developed in national and Community projects.

I do. The purpose of the District is to facilitate and orchestrate the development of an Innovative High-Tech Entrepreneurship Ecosystem incardinated on three socio-technical systems:

  • Tissutale Engineering for Regenerative Medicine
  • Nanotechnologie Molecolari for the environment and health
  • ICT for innovation in the development of high technological and sustainable products and services.

The ecosystem refers to the European model of "Knowledge and Innovation Communities" whose approach to development is based on capitalization and dissemination of knowledge.
The main strategic objective for achieving the aims of the District is the creation of a substantial critical mass of development actors, including the central figure of the "Innovators/Entrepreneurs", young people who, with solid scientific/technical and managerial bases, are able to promote and implement paths of valorisation of knowledge in order to innovate the production system through a High-Tech network in support of the new and small entrepreneurship connected to the great industry.

Central in the District action methodology is that of Living Labs, environments in which researchers, entrepreneurs, industry and public administration representatives cooperate in defining research objectives, experimenting with laboratory applications and disseminating results up to industrial development, promotion and provision of services and solutions according to an approach open innovation.
